The topics of the lectures are:
1. Toughts from the study: How a story is born, How it develops and how it reaches its end.
2. The differences between the writing of a short story and a novel. Imaginary and factual: the ties between the invented story and
the writer´s biography.
3. The differences between writing prose and writing a script or a play. Screening scenes from movies and plays is possible.
4. Writing about the Holocaust: the unique dilemma of writing about the subject. A focus will be placed on describing the reality of 'the second generation': children of survivors and the way this experience is manifested in the stories.
Screening the movie 'Dead Line' whose script was written together with Aliza Olmert, is possible.
